That Girl DJ Blended Erasure & Depeche Mode!!!!

I was looking through my CD collection and found this gem that I forgot I purchased. This is a disc called THAT GIRL DJ PRESENTS DEPECHE MODE ERASURE BLENDED. After looking at the disc, I remembered I purchased it at a used CD store back in 1995.

I don't know much "THAT GIRL DJ" other than what is on the back of the disc. I believe she is from Athens, Greece, since that is the address to write to for fan club info. If anyone has some more information on this release, I would like to know more about it.

Anyway, it's a disc of Erasure & Depeche Mode songs brilliantly mixed together to creat a 45 min mix. The track listing is below.

It's Thursday and this week is almost through. Today is the day that I DJ at "The Place" In Marietta, GA. This is the type of music you can expect tonight if you decide to join me for a night of fun. Anyway, this mix I chose to post includes a British scientist, Magnus Pyke, d:10/19/92 at age 83, a couple of LP versions (since I can't find the Original 12" versions PLEASE HELP ME FIND THESE), and another mix from the Razormaid Remix Service. Hang the DJ that was AWFUL!!!!!!

Here we go on a Monday. The orignial version of this mix (which i hate) was not done to well. I think it was the first mix I ever made. The songs fit great but the mixing was sooooo bad. I decided to redo this mix last week and this is what I came up with. I made the mixing a little tighter and didn't let the songs run to long (I am bored with this song when will the dj change it.) This mix clocks in at 28:51 and includes the following songs:

A Little Happy Mix

The second mix I have chosen to post has a happy/carefree feel to it. It includes songs from a founding memeber of Duran Duran, two songs from Dead Or Alive, a Depeche Mode favorite and a Razormaid remix of a Pet Shop Boys classic.

Speaking of Razormaid, if you don't know already, they are a company that produces remixes that sound close to the original song. It's like the classic 12" singles that used the original song and made it longer and more DJ friendly. Other remix services from the 80's such as Ultimix or Hot Mix use extra drum beats not even close to the original along. In fact artist have actually released their remixes on the Original 12" single. (The Cure - The Walk comes to mind)

I would like to here from some of you that might have more of the CLASS-X series from Razormaid since I currently only have Vol. 1-3 and some various other mixes from the series and would like to collect the entire series.

Enough ranting on and on about one of the best remix services available and on with the mix. This mix clocks in at 37:39 and includes the following songs:
